There was a lovely Christmas spirit in the house with the decorations and excitement from the kids with Christmas only four days away. As i headed off to the church i could see the clouds begin to darken but luckily i was able to get some lovely establishing shots before the rain came. By the time Stephanie arrived it was pouring down but it kind of added to the excitement as the couple were not going to let the weather dampen the spirits. Indeed those spirits were lifted be the always impressive voice of Nikki Kavanagh who really added to the ceremony with some beautiful songs.
Wedding in Ballymagarvey Village
After a beautiful ceremony by a local priest and friend from Michaels parish we all headed back to this wedding in Ballymagarvey Village where John Regan and the team were awaiting the arrival of Stephanie and Michael. Unfortunately the rain persisted but it did not put the crowd off who were intent on having a great time. We had some lovely speeches before the band got the real party started and Michael really showed us some dancing skills. When i was leaving the dance floor was still packed, young and old all having a great time. That’s the Christmas Spirit!
