Wedding Video { Audrey and Bren }

Wedding Reception: Carton House, Maynooth , Kildare Audrey first contacted me after I shot her friend Rachels wedding. You can see Rachels wedding to Anthony here. Audrey and Bren decided to have their wedding reception in Carton House in Kildare. Great venues always help you to make a good wedding video but the real truth is that it's all about the couple and their family and friends on the day. The bridal preparations were under way when i arrived at Audreys house in Stella Gardens, Ringsend. The hair and make-up girls were just applying the finishing touches to the girls and I headed across the road to Audreys parents where her gorgeous dress was hanging up. When i arrived back her 2 gorgeous sons had their suits on and together with their Dad they were gonna give the girls a run for their money in the style stakes! After a beautiful ceremony we arrived at carton house and the sun was high in the sky. All family and friends were enjoying the day also.   Audrey had a surprise for her guests that night when comedian Dave Young took to the stage for an hour, I must say he is great craic. Later on when i packing up the dance floor was jammed and all the crowd were in great form.

Leixlip Manor | Kildare | Wedding Video { Joyce and Steven }

Wedding Reception: Leixlip Manor and Gardens, Kildare This wedding video from Leixlip Manor and Gardens was my first chance to visit the exclusive Kildare wedding venue. The staff were so helpful which always makes my job as a videographer easier. Because the reception room is small and intimate it always means its a tight squeeze so it's vital all vendors are on the same wavelength. Thankfully the staff could not have been more helpful. Joyce and the girls prepared in her mothers house before making the short trip to the Church in Celbridge town. St. Patricks is a gorgeous church and we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony. After the mass , myself and the Photographer Paul Andrews made our way over to Leixlip Manor but alas the heavens opened and our photoshoot was looking like it would be indoors. Luckily we got a break in the weather and were able to get out for some creative shots with Joyce and Steven later on. Wedding Pop-Up Book: Joyce and Steven also added the Wedding Pop-Up Book to their package.

Wedding Videographer Highlights | Shalom and Patrick

Wedding Reception: Ballymagarvey Village, Meath. From my first contact with Shalom and Patrick I had a feeling their wedding was going to be planned to perfection! And boy did they do it in style. Their church in Dundalk was amazing and a perfect setting for this lovely couple to say their vows. The music in the church was out of this world and was provided by musicians Aoife Dennedy, Jane Murphy and Ailbhe Kirkan. They were joined by soloist Sarah McCourt. After Shaloms father got over Patrick kissing him on the top of the aisle it was over to the picturesque Ballymagarvey Village, where they were met by manager John Regan. Shalom looked beautiful, complimented by gorgeous make-up by Lida Hertel . Gorgeous weather played its part and photographerKip Carroll and myself had some lovely scenes to capture a great wedding video. The band for the reception were A Few Good Men and really got the party going from the off. Wedding Videographer Dublin was of the one and only Quinn Video !

Wedding Videographer – Maria and Phil Wedding Video

Wedding Reception: Darver Castle, Readypenny, Louth This beautiful wedding video comes from Darver Castle in Louth. A wonderful family run venue where everyone is treated well, including staff and it shines through in their attitude and willingness to help. Maria initially contacted me after a referral from a friend of hers. After meeting me and a quick chat i think she knew i was the right person to be her wedding videographer. Wedding Videographer   As a wedding videographer you come across quite a few emotional moments, and the wedding of Maria and Phil was such a wedding. With that in mind I am keeping this blog short and sweet, and i'll let the pictures from this wedding video tell the story. Thanks to Trevor and the staff at Darver Castle for once again being so considerate towards myself and the photographer, it makes such a difference, and makes the job of the wedding videographer so much easier.

Wedding Video { Orla and Batman }

Wedding Reception: Kimmage Manor Parish, Whitehall Road, Dublin 12 Yes you are probably thinking i have gone mad or something but this was actually Batman that got married. Originally Paul, he is such a Batman nut that he changed his name to Batman! judging by their song choice and dancing he's also a huge Michael Jackson fan. Orla and Batman got married a gorgeous church in Dublin 12 that i had never heard of, Kimmage Manor Parish. Before the ceremony i went over to Orlas' parent house to capture the preparation for their wedding video. Hair and Make up was being finished and there was a great sense of excitement. The reception was in the gorgeous Finnstown House Hotel where the staff are always very kind. They also have some nice grounds for photos, although the weather was damp and wet so we didn't spend too much time getting cold! All in all this wedding video was a joy to do and Orla and Batman were really great fun on the day

When should I start booking what I need for my wedding?

Getting engaged is a wonderful time in anyone’s life; it is a memorable occasion and one to be savoured and celebrated with loved ones. However, once the dust has settled on the congratulatory engagement cards and all the champagne has been drank, there is the issue of organising the wedding to consider. Generally it is advised to book your details approximately 18 months in advance or at least 12 months. If you get engaged and don’t plan on having your big day anytime soon or maybe you just don’t know what date in the future it will happen, the best thing to do is to start making notes. Buy a scrapbook and start looking at wedding magazines, keeping the scraps of images that you like. Because you have time on your hands you can start building a vision of how your day will be and once you have decided on a date you then have a scrapbook of ideas to refer to. Another good tip is to sign up to the social media website Pinterest as this is basically an online scrapbook where all your ideas are amalgamated on a virtual ‘board’. It is a fantastic way to get some ideas from other like-minded individuals. One of the most important things for your wedding will be your venue. Once you have agreed a date with your partner –visit some venues that you have in mind. Once you visit them and get an idea of their prices and of the function room, you will be able to make a more informed decision. Try to have an idea of the number of people that you are inviting at this stage. Again once you have chosen a wedding [...]

Wedding Videos Highlights | Ursula and Greg

Wedding Ceremony: St Patricks Church, Ballyrush, Castlebaldwin, Co.Sligo Wedding Reception: The Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone, Co Sligo I wrote a post on my blog a while ago here, about thinking i was crazy taking on 2 weddings with so many miles between them 1 day after the other. Well this is the first of those and as soon as i sat down to review the footage for this wedding video I knew i had made it a worthwhile trip. I picked up the trail of this Sligo wedding videos in Carrick on Shannon, where the girls were having their hair and make-up done. From there it was on to Ursulas parents house in Boyle,Co Roscommon to get into the dress and have some chocolate dipped strawberries! Yummy . I left the girls sipping their champagne and headed of for St.Patricks Church, in Castlebaldwin Co.Sligo, where Greg and his team for the day were already checking on the church details and helping the musicians get settled. A beautiful mass was said before we all got to see Greg ringing the old church bell, I think that made his day ! Following a 1 hour drive to Enniscrone ,when i got out to stretch my legs and get the gear ready for the wedding photoshoot I was just amazed at the beauty that surrounded me. Enniscrone beach and the old cliff baths created a beautiful backdrop. What you see in the highlights for the wedding video is surely testament to that. Whilst that beauty was never going to be bettered that day, Ronnie and the lads from Late Night Radio were certainly gonna show everyone a good time and [...]
