Wedding Video Killashee – Ciara and Tadhg

Wedding Ceremony: St. Brigid's Church, Straffan, Kildare Wedding Reception: Killashee House Hotel, Nass, Kildare Wedding Video Killashee House Hotel Ciara and Tadhg first met me at the January wedding fair in Citywest 2013 where they began to tell me about their plans for their wedding in Killashee House Hotel in Nass. They were planning to get married on the bank holiday in August, one of the busiest times of the year but also in the church in Straffan and then onto Killashee in Nass on the same weekend as Oxygen !. Logistical worries to the side, i was delighted when Ciara contacted me a few days later to check if the date was still free. I am very familiar with the hotel as you may recall this wedding video from killashee house when Denise and Andrew got married. We Started the day at Ciaras parents house where the girls were being beautified and there was great excitement. Ciara and her fatehr arrived with the roof down on the wedding car with the sun shinning. After a beautiful wedding ceremony we headed for Nass after one of the heaviest showers of rain i ever saw! All the poor revelers in Oxygen! ...............as if they cared ! We someone was looking down on Ciara and Tadhg, as when we got to the hotel the rain had stopped and it gave myself and the photographers Photohouse a great chance to squeeze in some nice outdoor footage before the wedding reception. Photohouse are a husband and wife team based in Portmarnock and i have to say they were a pleasure to work with, video friendly and conscious of the ind of shots i required too. We [...]

Lough Rynn Wedding Video – Quinn Video

Caroline first seen my wedding videos when she found me on one of the main wedding supplier websites. David and Caroline decided to get married in Lough Rynn in Leitrim but Caroline and the girls got ready in Kilronan Castle. When i arrived hair and makeup was in full swing and i met with Kathy Burke, the photographer for the day. Lough Rynn Wedding Video We had to head over to Sligo  first to the lovely little Geevagh Church, Geevagh, Co. Sligo . We heard poignant words from thier Con-Celebrant Fr. Vincent Sherlock. Indeed, mystery certainly surrounds us. Afterwards we headed back to Lough Rynn where the sun was shinning and we were able to get some lovely footage in the magnificent grounds. The day was made extra special for David and Caroline having family back home from America for their wedding and Carolines brother in Law gave a beautiful moving speech about the time they were over before the wedding to meet the Byrne family. Wedding Videography Highlights | Odile and Paul

Wedding Reception: The Keadeen Hotel. Newbridge, Co Kildare. This wedding video brought together the Irish and French and when you watch the video I'm sure you will agree that Odile, who planned all of the small details of her wedding herself, pulled of a certain "je ne sais quoi". Upon arrival at The Keadeen Hotel on the morning of the wedding the sun was doing its job for once, an so it was really showcasing their magnificent gardens.  The colours were amazing and the lawn looked suitable for a Wimbledon tennis match. Not to be outshone, Odile and her team of bridesmaids were looking stunning as they had their final hair and make-up preparations done. The church ceremony was a joy to be part of with a full gospel choir providing the music, and mix of French and English for the readings made it all the more interesting. Who doesn't love the french accent after all ! When we arrived back at the hotel I realised just how much effort Odile had put into this wedding. The details were amazing, the menu board, the stunning macaroon cake, the table plan and of course Odile was carrying a magnificent bouquet. Oh, I nearly forgot the ice cream bike too ! Odile and Paul really looked after me and i got the full meal, and i can say is " Oh My God" ! After the most wonderful speeches Odile and Paul took to the floor for the first dance as husband and wife. Afterwards the band had the whole crowd up having a laugh doing some Irish dancing and it was a fitting end to this French/Irish wedding video. Thanks for reading.

Wedding Video { Caoimhe and Niall }

Wedding Reception: Moyvalley Hotel, Balyna Estate, Co Kildare Initially I met Caoimhe at a wedding fair in Citywest in Dublin where she was searching for a wedding videographer and photographer. Well the world is such a small place it turned out i knew a lot of Caoimhe and Nialls friends from gracepark in Dublin, mostly through football. The preparations were under way  in Fleenstown, Co.Meath in her parents house when i arrived on the morning of the wedding. Hair and make was getting the final touch ups and there was an air of excitement in the house. I didn't have too far to travel to the church for the mass and it was beautiful ceremony which incorporated a lot of  "as gaeilge", Caoimhe is a teacher in an all irish school.   From the church we headed over to Moyvalley Hotel in Kildare , a spectacular surroundings to shoot the rest of the wedding video. Caoimhe and Niall had choosen Gary Barrett as their wedding photographer which was great as Gary is such a pleasure to work with and also just a nice guy to spend time with. all of these things make shooting wedding videos so much easier! With such a young hip crowd there was no surprise that the dance floor was still packed when i headed fro home....... Feel free to share.

Mayo Wedding Video – Mary and David

Wedding Ceremony: St. Joseph's Church, Binghamstown, Bellmullet, Co Mayo Wedding Reception: Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet, Co. Mayo Wedding Video: Mary and David got in touch with me after they saw Sarah and Stephens Wedding Highlights . Davids sister Mairead was a bridesmaid at that wedding and she encouraged the newly engaged couple to check out some of the weddings on my website and the pricing which i am very grateful for. ( I still haven't passed on that gratitude through a bottle of wine, shame on me ! ) Wedding Videos Mayo: When Mary told me the location for the wedding was Belmullet, Co.Mayo I did not hesitate................I've never been to New York so i figured i might as well go as close as i can without leaving Ireland! I was also very pleased when i check Philip Stratfords website . Mary had chosen a photographer who would compliment the way i like to shoot my wedding videos. Broadhaven Bay Hotel: The reception was in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel in Belmullet, Co.Mayo and all the guests enjoyed the good weather outside before heading in for their dinner. The dance floor was jammed when i was leaving and the party had gotten into full swing. Later reports would suggest the party continued well into the next day! Wedding Video { Audrey and Bren }

Wedding Reception: Carton House, Maynooth , Kildare Audrey first contacted me after I shot her friend Rachels wedding. You can see Rachels wedding to Anthony here. Audrey and Bren decided to have their wedding reception in Carton House in Kildare. Great venues always help you to make a good wedding video but the real truth is that it's all about the couple and their family and friends on the day. The bridal preparations were under way when i arrived at Audreys house in Stella Gardens, Ringsend. The hair and make-up girls were just applying the finishing touches to the girls and I headed across the road to Audreys parents where her gorgeous dress was hanging up. When i arrived back her 2 gorgeous sons had their suits on and together with their Dad they were gonna give the girls a run for their money in the style stakes! After a beautiful ceremony we arrived at carton house and the sun was high in the sky. All family and friends were enjoying the day also.   Audrey had a surprise for her guests that night when comedian Dave Young took to the stage for an hour, I must say he is great craic. Later on when i packing up the dance floor was jammed and all the crowd were in great form.

Wedding Video Ballymagarvey Village { Kelley and Stuart }

Wedding Reception: Ballymagarvey Village, Balrath, Co. Meath, Ireland It was at Citywest Wedding Journal Show 2012 that i met Kelley and Stuart for the first time. They told me that i was already booked to do their friends wedding video. Indeed Stuart would be a groomsman at that wedding and John would return the favour for Stuart on their big day. One of the clips playing on my stand that day happened to be from the sumptuous Ballymagarvey Village and Kelley was very excited to tell me that it was their chosen wedding venue. If i was to get married in Ireland it would probably be mine too ! It just exudes class at every turn and the staff are so helpful it really does make for the perfect venue. Kelley and Stuart both got ready at a local hotel and it was there that myself and their photographer Gary Barrett started our day. I cannot over emphasise how great it is to work with photographers like Gary who take the wedding videographer into consideration the whole day too.  From the couples point of view Gary doesn't take forever getting his shots and leaves so much time for them to enjoy their wedding reception. Anyway we had a bit of craic with the lads getting ready and then some casual footage of the bridal preparations. I always love it when there are kids involved and there was no abundance of little beauties this day. Wedding Video Stills: Normally i would mention the civil ceremony or the emotion of the speeches but today i think i will just let this wedding video tell the story of their "Wedding Day". I hope you enjoy it [...]

Civil Ceremony Ballymagarvey Village – Emer and Martin

Wedding Reception: Ballymagarvey Village, Balrath, Co. Meath, Ireland One of Irelands most popular 5star wedding venues is without a doubt Ballymagarvey Village in Co. Meath. From the moment you enter the gates you are taken away from everyday life, all your needs are catered for with beautiful surrounds and pleasant staff. I never grow old of visiting Ballymagarvey for weddings and nearly everytime i return they have done something new to make it even better...... Emer and Martin contacted me after seeing another of my previous Ballymagrvey weddings on my website, but what really struck me was that Emer had seen where i was from and was glad to keep the work local. It's always nice to be supported by the local community and also to give something back of course. They had also decided to include the Wedding Pop-Up Book ,which you can see if you click the link. I started in their gorgeous house in Malahide with magnificant views over malahide estuary where the girls were sipping champagne and getting ready. Then it was straight to Ballymagarvey for the civil ceremony. As a bonus the weather was amazing so all the guests could enjoy the gardens out the back of the house after the ceremony which was really nice and emotional. Unusually for my wedding highlights this one features a live band from the day reception, the guys from The Hitmen Trio are just amazing, i have came across them many times now in the evening part of weddings and they are always a big hit with the crowd. This wedding was no different. Here's what Emer thought about her wedding video highlights : "Oh Ronan, just after watching it [...]

Wedding Video { Roisin and Raymond }

Wedding Reception: Sheraton Athlone Hotel Westmeath Video: This was entirely a westmeath video but 100% Dublin! Roisin and Raymond decided to have their wedding in Athlone after they had gone to see the Sheraton Hotel . But as the celebrant ......... Canon Liam Devine pointed out it was all Dublin today, but we all found it very interesting when he explained that in all his years and having officiated at weddings in every county in Ireland, this was his first all-Dublin wedding! And he could not hide his affinity for the dubs as you can see from the video! The GAA theme had started when Roisin met me firs, as i was doing a local wedding fair in my club in Coolock, Parnells. It continued during the Mass when Canon Devine told us at the end of the Mass............" And by the way bring Sam and Bring Liam McCarthy home, they've been too long away from us!" Well we only managed Sam but it was fitting that Roisin and Raymond would receive their DVDs within 2 weeks of Sam coming home and the circle was complete when the Dubs arrived in Parnells to complete the GAA themed circle that had started there when i met Roisin and her sister and friends months previously at their wedding fair. Videographer: Roisin told me she was looking for a videographer who didn't do all the usual cheese, someone modern and unobtrusive. After a few minutes chatting I think Roisin knew she had the right person for the job. On top of that she knew my personality would be a match for herself and Raymond. The party: Roisin and Ray were keen for everyone to be up [...]
