Wedding Ceremony: Church of Our Lady of Assumption, Tullyallen, Co Louth

Wedding Reception: Darver Castle, Co Louth

I first met Sarah last year at a different Quinn Wedding Video. She was working behind the chocolate fountain of her company, heavenly fondue fountains. Being the social guy that i am I was over more than once to rob a few strawberries and pineapple pieces!
However it was a few months later that i got an email from Sarah to tell me she was getting married herself and would like me to capture her special day. When she told me she was having a Darver Castle wedding i was excited because i love the atmosphere of this Co.Louth Venue. Trevor runs a very tight and efficient ship up there and as videographer or photographer will tell you, it makes all the difference when things happen on time. And its military precision in Darver Castle !

Speaking of photographers, we were joined on the day by an really nice guy and awesome photographer. David McClelland offers up a slightly different approach to photography. In a very informal and relaxed manner David captures the day through his own unique vision. I really do suggest you check out his signature style on his website . For me  as an amateur photographer, it certainly whet my appetite.

When i got to Sarahs parents house in Tullyallen, Co.Louth the girls informed me that they were without electricity all morning ! This didn’t affect the party one bit and we adapted and improvised. Shortly after when i got the church I was told there was no electricity there either ! No panic, we would meet all challenges in front of us !

After a nice ceremony I think everyone was happy to get outside for some sunshine because the church was very cold due to no heating working! Shortly after arrival at Darver Castle and after mingling with their guest we had a lovely photoshoot with the bridal party and Sarah and Cormac leaving them free to enjoy their reception before dinner.

With the nerves of the speeches a distant memory the guests and bridal party joined the happy couple on the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning to make this a memorable wedding video. The crowd certainly knew how to finish the day off in style. Thank God there was electricity in Darver Castle!
